Ramadan 2026 Information

Ramadan in 2026 is expected to begin on the evening of Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with the first fast on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Though the exact date depends on the sighting of the new moon and may vary slightly by location, the holy month concludes around March 19-20, with Eid al-Fitr anticipated on March 20 or 21, 2026.

Programme Expected Dates

  • Start: Evening of Feb 18 (fasting Feb 19)
  • End: Evening of Mar 19 (fasting Mar 20)
  • Eid al-Fitr: March 20 or 21, 2026

Since Ramadan follows the lunar Islamic calendar, the official start and end dates are confirmed only after the sighting of the crescent moon, so slight variations can occur.
